‘’what’s your favourite super power’’?

She said ‘’America’’ she explained that China wouldn't stand a chance … wtf!!!

So not what I was expecting to hear, loosen up hunni.

Not only is it deep but I thought very disturbing too. Kids shouldn't be associating super powers with nations, well not at that age.

It's nothing new though, right? Can you think of a time where the power of nations was not in the spotlight? Goes back at least a couple thousand years that we have recorded ;)

if you asked me that i'd say "the ability to manipulate kinetic energy". nations and their "super powers" or struggles would not even begin to come up in my thoughts.... i'd just be thinking of superman, the xmen and all the other imaginary characters with super human abilities.

We went out in the week to a new Chinese restaurant, I say new but it’s actually been opened a little over a year.

It was fantastic, it was an ‘eat as much as you like’ deal and brilliant value ‘£13’ each. If you saw nothing at the buffet you fancied (as unlikely as that could be) they have a grill where they cook to order too and it’s all part of the deal, you even get to create your own sauces and experiment.

They had a sushi bar which was being refreshed every time I looked, what a great touch. I wont mention the choice of cakes and sweets.

The atmosphere was buzzing too considering this was a mid week venture. Kids ate free if they were the right height and measured under a cardboard cut out … yes I tried!! Lol

The price of a pint was three quid, so that was also about right for a night out.



One major snag ……… it’s within walking distance of my home!
